Mercedes AMG voucher for 1 week rental

The motorsport tradition of the so called “silver arrows” had its beginnings already a century ago and is held up high with the F1 racing team of Mercedes-AMG still today. So it´s even more astonishing that – beside some really rare special models – there was no real sports car in the model range of Mercedes that was able to compete with the legendary Porsche 911. Even the big competitor Audi is offering this with the Audi R8 since a few years. But then the AMG GTS came with a big boom: A shearly not-ending bonnet with a massive powerdome, a short and crispy rear-end and a lot of details that simply made a coherent package. That´s how a supercar should look like!

Under its bonnet some typical AMG-ingredients can be found and honestly there´s no better chassis to fit in for them than this. The technical reasons to rent an Mercedes-AMG are the same everywhere: A deep roaring V8-Biturbo-engine (that has a sound you could easily think it´s a naturally aspirated engine in there!) connected with a 7-speed-DCT-gearbox at the rear-end (trans-axle) and equipped with some agile rear-wheel-drive. Et voila: Here´s your perfect driving machine! The “911” really needs to make an effort to keep the record.

Once a time an AMG-model more had the driving qualities of a sofa on four wheels but fortunately these times are over now. At a ride in the AMG GTS you can easily feel that driving dynamics were much higher in priority than a good comfort. And we like it! Because whoever is renting an AMG doesn´t want to just cruise around in slow-motion but wants to speed up through the streets.
